ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Hi everyone! My name is Kylie Simmons, I am a sophomore majoring in elementary education here at Florida State. I just recently applied to be admitted into the accelerated Bachelor's/Master's degree program for elementary education and find out if I made it towards the end of April. Through my journey at Florida State and to apply to this program, I overcame lot of obstacles and understood how things work. There are a ton of moving parts, deadlines, expectations and requirements that I needed to complete prior to applying for this program that I wouldn't have known if it weren't for my personal research and investigating.
I created this website in hopes to sooth some of your fears and answer some of the questions you may have as you embark into this major and future program. Coming from a student who has actually gone through the process and jumped through all the hoops, I hope I can make your journey a little smoother and less nerve-wracking than mine was.
